A Stunning, Easy-to-Maintain Oasis

Coming from the mild, sunny climates of California, we were used to landscapes that didn’t require a ton of upkeep. We didn’t want to spend our weekends constantly watering plants or worrying about lawn care. With Alpine Landscaping, we were able to create a space that fits our busy lives perfectly — and looks like an oasis!

Our yard now features gorgeous rock retaining walls that not only add depth and character but also help with erosion control. The outdoor firepit they installed is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots to relax, especially as the temperatures drop in the evenings. Imagine sitting around a fire, with the Colorado sky full of stars — it’s just perfect!

The Water Feature: Our Dog’s New Obsession

We couldn’t resist adding a water feature, and to our delight, it’s become the highlight of our golden retriever’s day — she’s can’t stop drinking from it any chance she gets, it’s her own personal water fountain! For us, the sound of running water brings a calming element to the yard, making it feel even more like a peaceful retreat.

Lush Shrubs, Trees, and Low-Water Plants

The balance between the desert-like environment and lush greenery is stunning. Alpine Landscaping incorporated xeriscape-friendly shrubs and trees that don’t require much water but still look vibrant and healthy. It’s incredible to see how they blended the natural beauty of Colorado with the landscaping styles we were used to in California.

His prices were not only fair, he hit the mark on his estimates, making financial planning for this project easy.
